The Beginning…  My dad and I watched my mom start going through menopause at age 53. Menopause not only made her miserable but my my dad and I were just as miserable with her constant mood swings and unhappiness.  My mom went to her OBGY and they recommended Estrogen through HRT (hormone replace therapy) but she quickly cancelled this idea due to the high risk of breast cancer that runs in our family history.  My mom tried several OTC (over the counter) medications and vitamins but nothing seemed to help her.  As time went on she went into a depression due to the constant mood swings, hot flashes and night sweats.  She ended up gaining 40 pounds and this made her feel even worse about herself.

After 1 year I had enough of watching her go through this miserable change in her life and tried to help her.  I spoke with many gynecologist, naturopaths and nutritionists to help her come up with a plan to take her life back.  We researched online, spoke to everyone and found a list of herbal ingredients that we felt would work to combat her health issues.

I began by creating an herbal tea for her to drink every morning and a cream she would rub on her thighs a few times per day.  After a few weeks we all started to notices changes in her.  Positive changes!  Her mood swings decreased, her hot flashes were less frequent and she was sleeping better.  She was feeling much happier and as she continued to drink the tea her results kept improving.  

After 3 months her friends started to take notice of her positive changes and began asking her what she was doing, she explained the tea and the cream to them and they all wanted to try some as well.  Now I was making the herbal tea for not only her but her friends as well.  Word kept spreading throughout our community and soon I was getting orders from people we did not know.  They would text my phone, venmo me money and pick their tea up at my house.  

After a few years of selling this wonderful herbal tea people asked me if I could turn this herbal blend into an easy to take gummy.  So after many months of testing I came up with the current formula that we use today.  I chose to use pectin so they did not melt and also were vegan friendly.

We began selling these gummies as fast as I could make them and I had 2 months worth of back orders after a few months in business.  I had to expand and expand quickly to keep up since word was spreading fast.  I had people buying the gummies from me and reselling them at farmers markets and in their local small shops to their customers.  It was a huge success!

My customers requested sleep, libido and metabolism gummies to tackle their other symptoms of not only menopause but just life.  So that is what I did, I sat down with the same group who helped me create my first formula and we came up with the other 3 amazing products.  These were a huge success in our community.  Everyone loved them and we began to grow even faster than expected.  

Kinoko is born!  Fast forward 4 years and here we are.  After popular demand I decided to go public!  I had a friend create my website, and now I am able to sell you my wonderful female herbal gummies all over the country.  We have moved from my kitchen into a true commercial kitchen and have a staff to help make, pack and ship our wonderful products to you.
